Selecting a Chiropractor

There are many excellent chiropractors serving their patients and helping them gain the full and active lifestyle they want. Finding the right chiropractor for your needs and health concerns is an important issue and will require some research on your part.

As you proceed with your research, certain doctors and clinics will begin emerge. The more intentional you are in gathering information, the better your personal chiropractic experience will be. So don't cut corners! Do the leg work!

A good checklist of steps would include:

  • Do an internet search of chiropractors and chiropractic clinics. An online directory catering exclusively to chiropractors and chiropractic clinics can be especially helpful in identifying options available in your area. Pay particular attention to reviews that have been written by their patients.
  • Seek out friends, neighbors, family members and co-workers who have received chiropractic care and talk with them about their experience. Ask them specific questions about the care they received, how it was delivered, and their personal satisfaction.
  • Contact the Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commerce and chiropractic regulatory organizations and specifically examine each chiropractor's professional and business history.
